We have forged our own path through the world of distilling, seeking out exceptional spirits and collaborating with distilleries and producers across the globe rather than following the conventional route of building our own distillery. The result is a constantly evolving collection of distinctive, limited and one off releases for curious spirits enthusiasts.
We take complex cultures of yeasts and bacteria along with other secrets to collaborating distilleries. The aim: ester driven old school Scotch style of the 1960s and 1970s.
No cask selections. Our own production from fermentation to distillation by our master distillers.

We love refill casks but aren't afraid of a sherry soaked expression if the spirit can handle it. Serious about flavour. Not about taking itself too seriously.

Authentic and unique with an incredible location.
North of the Arctic Circle, between glaciers, fjords and the northern lights, Aurora Spirit Distillery makes Bivrost. The name is the rainbow bridge between the human world and the realm of the gods.
Benedict Skelton, Spheric Spirits co-founder and Master Distiller, has shaped Bivrost’s whisky architecture from almost the very beginning, and was instrumental in establishing its new production site on Svalbard. His experience in Scotland, and years of collaboration with distilleries and producers around the world through Wild Yeast Whisky, have helped shape Bivrost into what it is today.
That shared history and close relationship is why Spheric Spirits represents Bivrost in Germany as its exclusive importer. A different role. An unmistakable world.
